Jibo is possibly the new real life Wall-E. Available in white and black and the size of a desk fan, the little robot will be appearing in homes across America in May 2016.

Originally founded by Dr. Cynthia Breazeal on Indiegogo, Jibo has managed to catch the attention of many individuals nationwide.

Jibo is essentially a personal assistant that can help you with everyday tasks. The robot is equipped with a 360 degree camera and microphone that can hear you from anywhere in a room, as well as processing sound naturally. Also, it has two high-resolution cameras that recognize faces, capture photos and conduct video calls.

It’s even compatible with different generations, so your grandmother could use it as an attentive companion and live fully independent. Or have Jibo be a playmate or storyteller for your child. Jibo’s main attraction is that it can adapt to your lifestyle so that it can function better for you and your family.

The real question is how practical is Jibo and how are the people taking in this new multi-functional home device?

Jibo even has its own Twitter account so feel free to check out what’s going on with little robot and stay up to date on its prospective future.
