With the 2016 Presidential Election just around the corner, the candidates for the two major parties– Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump– are working tirelessly with final campaigns before polls open Nov. 8.

As it stands now, Clinton has the edge with the popular vote and most polls and projections are predicting that she will become the 45th president of the United States. Despite the historic implications of a woman (possibly) being elected president, it may be the scandals of this campaign season that will be remembered just as well.

Trump’s vulgarities and unpolished style of speaking have been commanding the media’s attention, but seemingly just as newsworthy has been Clinton’s emails, which always find themselves in the news. Although it may seem like Clinton is a safe bet to win the presidency, if this election has shown us anything– and it’s shown us a lot– it’s that we can never know what to expect.
